Learning to count with the indie rockers

In the course of a lengthy discussion with msw, we somehow got onto the topic of counting with band names. Sadly, I seemed to be struggling a bit with this, so I'll put down what I have, and leave you to fill in some more in the comments.

KRS-1
U2
Oui3
The Fab Four (sorry, there should be something better for this) Four non-blondes (thanks commenter)
Jurassic5
Nikki Sixx
L7
OP8
MC 9 Hundred Foot Jesus (this is cheating, I can't remember a proper one for nine)
Ten Benson

Your challenge: get from Ten Benson to Matchbox 20. And improve the ones I have here. Is it possible to get up to 100 without going too obscure? Presumably 10,000 Maniacs is unreachable, but maybe Blink 182 is within reach?

Similar game for TV could also be fun.

Murder One
Earth Two
Babylon Five
Six Feet Under

It all sounds like it belongs on a radio 4 panel game anyway...

good work so far folks. (esp Trixie -- what does this say about your taste in music?), but no one so far has ventured above ten. Surely there must be a band with eleven in the name?

And no, the Ocean's Eleven Soundtrack does not count.

According to Amazon, there is a band called Finger Eleven, but perhaps it would be better if this did not degrade into a game of who can search the web the best.

How could I have forgotten Nine Inch Nails? Sorry about that.

My (limited) ambition is to get as far as 22 Piste Pirkko. Although if I can mention 1000 Homo DJs too, that would be nice.

Meanwhile:
Alphaville
The Beta Band
The Delta 72...
